Board Member (Volunteer Opening)

Position involves being able to advise, govern, oversee policy, direction, and assist with the leadership and general promotion of the organization so as to support the organization's mission and needs.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in human services, business, law, communication, or related field or a minimum of two (2) years of experience in real estate, lending or related area .  Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and able to work in a diverse environment. Must have two (2) years of organizational board member experience is required.


 

Housing Counselor (Opening)

Under the direct supervision of the Executive Director, the Housing Counselor is responsible for conducting homebuyer foreclosure prevention programs, housing counseling and credit counseling services, plus other administrative responsibilities.  This position requires the use of independent judgment and decision-making skills.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in human services, business or related field or a minimum of two (2) years of experience in real estate, lending or related area .  Two (2) years of experience working with people in need of assistance or an equivalent combination of training and experience.  Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and able to work in diverse environment.  Homeownership Counseling Certification a plus but not required.
